Internet sources have apparently confirmed that Sony is working with Morgan Stanley and Citigroup on splitting the entertainment division away from the overall umbrella of Sony. This would include the Playstation brand.
The move is reportedly being made to strengthen the company by mitigating some of the its debt and giving it extra needed capital. We will stay on top of this story as it develops.
