This is the last season pass DLC offered for the excellent Borderlands 2. In this download we take a break from Pandora and enter a fantasy world created from the mind of Tiny Tina. Tina and the original vault hunters are in Sanctuary playing a roll playing game much like D&D called Bunkers and Badasses. The game starts with the foul mouthed thirteen year old explaining the rules to the players. As the cut scene ends you are transported into the fictional world of Bunkers and Badasses, entering a place called Flamerock Refuge. Upon entering, the gamer sees rainbows and pretty flowers as Tina narrates the plot. One character asks why the world is so pretty if a wizard had destroyed it. Tina takes back the comments of rainbows and beauty and the world transforms to darkness and despair. Gearbox has stated the narration by Tina will change the world around at certain moments. Her scatter brain will dictate what bosses you fight, what terrain you will travel and promises to break the fourth wall over and over again.
This new DLC offers completely new areas, new enemies in the form of fantasy monsters and lots of loot. Gearbox has listened to gamer feed back and has created a new means of spending Eridium. There will be Tiny Tina slot machines that only take the purple stones. Also you can spend eridium at shrines you find along the way to give boosts to health, speed, ammo, etcetera. It's unkown whether these boosts will be indefinite or temporary.
Coming June 25th this latest installment should give fans plenty reason to jump back into their vault hunting boots and explore a fantasy world Borderlands style. If you have the season pass it will be free, if not you can purchase this on Xbox, Playstation and PC for ten (800 ms points) bucks. Not a bad deal for a brand new chapter in the phenomenal play ground that is Gearbox's Borderlands 2.
