Here at Big Ups Gaming we use a numbered system from 1 to 10 for our games. We will provide an overall experience score and not a break down of Graphics, Sound, etc. Here is what we mean with our numbers.
10 = Among the best we've ever played (Almost perfect, flawless, this will not be awarded often)
9 = Head and shoulders above other games (Amazing, almost no flaws)
8 = Great (Super fun, devoid of almost all flaws)
7 = Good (Really fun, may have minor flaws)
6 = Above average (Fun may have minor flaws)
5 = Average (Pretty fun but with a few minor or major flaws)
4 = Below average (Some fun and with some minor or major flaws)
3 = Bad (Not very fun and with major flaws)
2 = Terrible (Not fun at all and with major flaws)
1 = Unplayable (Broken disaster, this will not be awarded often)
You may see scores such at 7.5 which means that we found the game to be between the 2 scores in this case said game was between "Good" and "Great".
We here at Big Ups Gaming do not believe that a score of 10 means that the game is absolutely perfect. We know that even games that we score as a 10 might not be perfect to some people. If we score a game as a 10 it is because we found it to be as perfect a gaming experience as WE'VE ever experienced and with no perceivable flaws.
