Coming June 25th is High Moon Studio's Deadpool published by Activision. This game is on the radar of the loyal fan base of Deadpool and most comic fans that also love games. The best part is this game is being made by the people who did a great job with Transformers War for Cybertron and the sequel Fall of Cybertron. I have high hopes for this one in regards to the titles they have already put much effort into. Also the nifty fifty dollar price point doesn't hurt.
I personally can't wait for this title. I had it paid off before a street date was ever known. I've heard the game play is akin to Devil May Cry, using melee and long range (guns) in tandem to make combos. I've so far seen Deadpool silently kill as well as hack and slash his way through levels. As long as the controls are tight and the focus on humor is done correctly I don't see how High Moon could go wrong with this one.
I will be doing a full review on this title after it's release so stay tuned to find out.
