XBOX ONE Sees Post E3 Changes

This is a quick but fairly interesting tidbit.  Thanks to Doug and Mark for bringing this to our attention.

It seems that Microsoft has been combing the internets and reading feedback from gamers about the XBOX ONE.  XBOX blog "XBOX WIRE" has a great article for you to read on it here.  Before you do though, see the bullets below for a quick look.

  • After a one time setup via internet the XBOX ONE will work offline.  This means no handshake with the internet every 24 hours.  Your XBOX ONE is just as offline as your XBOX 360.
  • Lending games works just like it does now.  Give your friend your copy and they can go play it in their XBOX ONE.  The adverse side to this is that discs will have to be in the console for the game to work, so no more gaming without the disc.
  • Used games will work just like they do now.  If you want to trade a game in, go for it.  If you want to play a used game, just buy one at a local retailer or from a friend and start gaming.
