Opinion: Microsoft Press Briefing

I'm fresh off the Microsoft press briefing and I have to say that I am blown away.  Going into it I was unsure how it was going to play out, but Don Mattrick and friends brought their A game.  They showed game after game and all of it was impressive.  The words "TV", we hardly mentioned at all, in fact they pretty much only mentioned TV when they reiterated the Halo TV series, and the Quantum Break TV show that changes based on your actions in the game.

Microsoft came with a fully loaded plan and executed it brilliantly.  It really was all about the games.  They started off with a segment devoted to the XBOX 360, announcing games and even a new version of the console.

Then it was onto exclusive XBOX ONE titles, they said that they were announcing 13 exclusives but I only counted 11.  Here is what I have.

• Ryse: Son of Rome
• Killer Instinct
• Sunset Overdrive
• Forza 5
• Quantum Break
• D4
• Project Spark
• Crimson Dragon
• Dead Rising 3
• Halo (Halo 5)
• Titanfall

Both Daryll and I will be doing pieces on all these games in the very near future so stay tuned for that. 

I was totally in awe of the things they have in store for us, and some of the features of the games are so amazing I can't wait to do articles on them.
